Lord Maximus and Lady Belle, Protectors of the Hollow

I take lots of photos.
90% of the photos I take are of my sweet puppies.
90% of that 90% aren't any good at all. They're either blurry or too dark.
(It's tough getting good pictures of two black dogs in the woods before the sun has even fully risen!)

But every once in a while, I get lucky. These are a few from this past month...

To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace.

  7. Barbara, these images are just so precious! They're all lovely but I love the ones of them running together in particular - just them in their world... beautiful. I've currently got just over 6000 images and I believe at least 5000 must be of cats! I recently went through some of my "discarded" images and turned them black/white and suddenly found little gems in them. But yes, it takes so many takes to get really good shots but it's all worth the wait isn't it.
The qoute is so true - I treasure my moments with the cats every morning and evening, just sitting on the garden steps whilst they run around and play. I've often said to my DH that it's like a little Garden of Eden... and I'm 100% engaged.
P.S. Thanks so much for your lovely words on God's Little People.

  13. I can tell these are very special pups. Their faces say so much, don't they.... don't know where we would be without our two sweetie pies.
