These appeared up at our lakehouse a couple of weeks ago, and I, too, had to take photos. I didn't know what they were, so thanks for the identification! They're beautiful!
Barb, Mam-ma got those started some 25 years or so ago. She dug up some bulbs at Aunt Mavis' place in San Augustine and planted them there. They are also called "Hurricane Lillies," and several times when there was a hurricane in the vicinity they popped up. One of Mother Natures mysteries!
