I wish I'd said that, but Ralph Waldo Emerson beat me to it.
But I'm still happy to report quite a bit of giggling in the Hollow lately.
I've tried my best to identify the sources:
...Daisy Fleabane...
... the White Anemone Blanda...
...Purple Anemone Blanda...
...Redbud Tree Blossoms...
...Huisache Daisy or Bitterweed (any experts out there want to chime in?)
...that tough Prairie Verbena...
...Spiny Aster...
...and my favorite right now, the Blackfoot Daisy...
"The day the Lord created hope was probably the
same day He created spring." ~ Bern Williams
the huisache and blackfoot are two i've only seen on texas wildflower websites. haven't seen them grow here. a nice set of giggles!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize the diversity we had until I started snapping them and seeing the subtle differences. I'm sure I've never seen some of these here before, though. Every year it changes - a new cast of characters! I love it!
DeleteFlower's power !
ReplyDeleteBest regards from Paris,
Pierre
Thank you, Pierre! I agree!
DeleteLovely flowers. Haven't heard of the last type of Daisy. Gonna have to check into adding that to a garden around here!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of most of these - just admired them as strangers. :)
DeleteLove it! Not crazy about the seasonal allergies that go along with it. It's driving my daughter bonkers with the sneezing, snot and red nose. (hers, not mine)
ReplyDeleteThese are a welcome change here, after the cedar fever season we had! YIKES! I thought I'd never stop sneezing!!
DeleteWhat gorgeous shots of spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks, LF!
DeleteWell this looks like a very happy place to be! So many pretty flowers! I am hoping my spring shows up soon! :)
