Blink

Way back in December, we went to Florida.

There's this wall of graffiti we pass on our way to Pensacola Beach.
I knew it was ahead, knew we would be passing it. and I had my camera ready.
But we passed it so fast I barely had time to snap this photo.

That's how life is these days - I try to cover so much ground that I blink and the day is behind me.

I need to stop and take time for a closer look.

...not just watch the scenery flash by through the window...

Do you do this, too?
I hope I'm not the only one.

Anyway, that's why I haven't shared these photos with you until now.
Heck, I've barely looked at them myself!

(To be continued... we did eventually stop!)

  2. I can't tell you how many structures and things I've flown by, regretting I didn't stop and get a good shot. At least you tried to get some as you zoomed by! That house with the aliens in the window is fascinating. Wonder what the story is there...

  4. I wonder way those little aliens peeking out of their spaceship didn't come out and enjoy a beautiful day on the beach. Looking forward to seeing a few more. I love the serenity of the beach shots.

  7. Life sometimes goes by in a blur doesn't it? Glad you took time to slow down. Love the two aliens looking out the window of that house/trailer. And that beach looks great!

  8. Yes, sometimes it all flashes
    past
and I forget to watch and wonder.
    But OH so much thanks
    for these sunny sparkling photos
    ....can just imagine myself
    on that sand,
    belly down,
feeling the warmth where the sunshine
    puddles.
Oh for a spot of sunshine
    to bask in:)
    thanks for the warm yummy,
    Jen

  9. Love the Dunes. So clean and fresh.
Now, if that house could be rotated very slowly while you were having dinner, that would be something: a constantly changing view.
Not exactly pretty to look at, is it?
