The tides are in our veins...

I've been back from my annual women's retreat to Port Aransas, Texas for a few weeks now...
...and I'm already counting the days until next year.

Photos will have to do for now.

Somehow, I managed to keep my photography under control -
I can post my favorite shots in one post.

Granted, it's going to be a long post.
But it's still one post.
I hope it gives you a sense of our weekend retreat.

The tides are in our veins.

  1. I could sure use a beach! Lovely shots!

  2. so beautiful! lovely light in some of these, sunflowers, yellow-crowned night-heron juvenile, grasses, nice friends. ahhh...

  3. Good friends, sunshine and tequila.. how could you go wrong? You have some lovely and original images here, Barbara. I love the Jelly fish warning/alert in the sand, the selfie in progress and the tender display of friendship in the previous image, sand castle, angler in water, the croc which had me totally perplexed for a moment, the row of beach chairs and the heron. They all made me smile. I'm glad you enjoyed your time away.

  4. What a wonderful time, and perfect place, Barbara!
These photographs are just beautiful, and the sand castle is amazing!!

  5. Lovely and fun series of photos.
