Last night I slipped my camera's SD card into the CD slot.
Oh, no!
My wise son said, "Google it. You can't be the first one who has done that."
He was right.
Thanks to all of those who went before me.
I folded a business card, taped one end, and went fishing.
Whew!
My zoom lens is home from the hospital.
It's not quite its old self, I'm afraid.
But it's doing the job
and for that I'm grateful.
I haven't been around to visit blogs lately.
I had a BlogHer book review due and barely finished it under the wire.
It was on Daring Greatly, by Brene Brown.
I loved it, but there is a LOT in that book.
All I'll say is, you should read it.
You can read my official review here.
Now I'm off to my 35th high school reunion. Whoo-hoo!!
I wrote more about that here.
So those are my excuses. Just in case you missed me.
I'll be back around to visit you Monday!
Hope you have a great weekend!
(Just random photos from a walk right after the rain last week!)
So see you on Monday.
ReplyDeleteWhile these flowers are still waving to me.
beautiful photos! glad you saved the card and camera! :)
ReplyDeleteenjoy your reunion!
Thank you! Pre-reunion was awesome - on to Round 2 tonight!
DeleteEnjoy the reunion, Barabra! (Ha, couldn't resist).
ReplyDeleteI've done that, too!! And, boy did my heart go up in my throat! But, luckily I got mine out with just a bent paper clip. All you have to do, is do it once, and it will never happen again! Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteI saw the paper clip method, too, but I was worried I'd damage something with that sharp metal! My batting average wasn't great right then. Yes, I'll be sure to look before I slip that card in again!
DeleteI always hook my camera straight to the computer to get my photos. I would have had a severe panic attack if that had happened to me!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the reunion... and take lots of photos!
I used to have to connect my camera to the computer. I love being able to just slip the card in - but obviously I need to pay attention!!
DeleteI have not done that yet but if you are not paying attention and just feel that it is in a slot I could see that happening. Good job on retrieving it. nice pics
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, it was way too easy, but I can't blame Apple - just my own negligence!
DeleteBarbara,
ReplyDeleteGlad that you were able to recover your card!
I didn't she your review of the book. ?? Maybe your forgot to add the link?
All the best,
charlotte
Oops! Thanks for pointing that out, Charlotte! I added the link.
DeleteThank goodness for clever sons and Google. Enjoy your reunion!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that!
DeleteWhere would we be without Google!!
ReplyDeleteI know I would be totally lost!
DeleteThank goodness for the Internet!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are exquisite!
