Full moon, wispy clouds, soft darkness, puppies snoring.
No red moonbeams
No amber glow
But a magical night anyway.
Before the eclipse ... the clouds can't make up their minds...
At the end ... after the full eclipse, when the clouds got bored and began drifting away, allowing me a glimpse of the partial eclipse (but no red moonbeams)...
With a little manual tweak in the coloring...
Yeah, I got carried away.
I prefer the natural color, anyway. Except for these last three, I didn't touch the color. I cropped and lightened, but otherwise they are straight out of the camera.

Oh yes, you captured some fine shots. I'm so glad you let me know about them. Those first two are quite magical.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and yours have a very Happy New Year.
Thanks for taking a look, Hilary. I'm pleased with them, considering I'm really an amateur and have so much to learn! I hope you have a wonderful new year!
ReplyDeleteWere you one of those people who exited a classroom after a test saying, "I think I failed," only to find out the next day you made an A.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, just as I knew they would be.
What, so it took me a month to get here, those last 8 shots are just what I was hoping but didn't get to see.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
