Put a camera in my hands...

...and I'll never be bored. These are from Saturday, starting with our tailgating session in an old Austin duplex before the University of Texas Longhorns vs. Wyoming Cowboys game. I was left alone a few minutes to guard our "stuff"...

I was finally let in - and starting snapping again. I wouldn't mind living here - especially with this dream set of drums... (and yes, I played them.)

I know I'm weird to take photos in bathrooms, but I love little details like glass doorknobs... pure art to me.

We eventually made it to the game...

Dear Santa...

Did I mention we won?

  1. OMG! I love all your photos :) My favorites: the balloons, Remembering, Dear Santa, Trooper & mascot smiling, and Father & son! You have quite a talent there! You inspire me to do better :) Liz

  2. Thank you, Liz! I'm glad I've inspired you - you inspire me with your beautiful photography, too!

  3. I want your camera! (and your skill)

  4. I do love my camera, and I give it credit for any good shots I take, but I realized Friday night how amateur it really is! I have a wish list of my own started!

  5. What made you "realize" this? These are amazing! (Don't you just love having amateur friends?)

  6. Barbara ~ your skills are greatly improving! these shots are marvelous! even the action shots. well done! high five to ya!

  7. Thank you!! Gina, I realized it by a side-by-side comparison with a professional camera. Wow!! The difference is amazing, and a little depressing since I'll never be able to afford one like that!

Take a minute to share your thoughts and make my day!
